Tonight at 10, PBS will air a documentary profiling former DCPS Chancellor Michelle Rhee. The program will examine her 2007-2010 tenure and resurrect controversy over score-tampering by DCPS teachers under the former chancellor.
Former Noyes Education Campus Principal Adell Cothorne provides Frontline with her eyewitness account of teacher test tampering, which she reported to no avail. The documentary suggests that D.C. Inspector General Charles J. Willoughby’s investigation into the matter, which found no evidence of score-tampering, was incomplete, reaffirming widespread suspicions. Be sure to tune in and let us know what you think.
